Conservation Breeding Centre – (CBC). Passion of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (The President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi) for conservation stemmed from his close association with nature especially the desert and its flora & fauna. His Highness has truly carried forward the legacy of his illustrious Father, Late His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace). In the relentless pursuit of conservation objectives, CBC, a landmark project and the first of its kind in Pakistan, was sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (The President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi) in Lal Sohanra, Cholistan Desert in 2014. It is a highly guarded desert expanse spread across 165 sq. Km (40,772.4 acres), where Chinkaras, Black Bucks and Blue Bull along with other natural species thrive unencumbered with minimal human signature.
