H.H. SHEIKH MOHAMED BIN ZAYED AL-NAHYAN CONSERVATION BREEDING CENTRE - LAL SUHANRA NATIONAL PARK, BAHAWALPUR

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi) has a strong passion for conservation, which is manifest in his patronization of several initiatives at home and abroad.  Conservation Breeding Centre (CBC), a landmark project and the only one of its kind in Pakistan, was sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Lal Suhanra, Cholistan Desert in 2015 under management of Houbara Foundation International Pakistan.  It is a guarded desert expanse spread across 165 square kilometres (40,772.4 acres) where Chinkaras, Blackbucks and Blue Bulls have thrived in a semi-wild environment.  Interestingly, a diverse assortment of other species comprising; raptors, birds, reptiles and even predators have adopted CBC as their abode, which underscores the prevalent ecosystem and adds colour and value to the endeavour.
