On 18th March 2015, a batch of 250 Chinkaras was translocated from H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Deer Breeding Centre Rahim Yar Khan to CBC. Senior dignitaries from Abu Dhabi led by Director IFHC, H.E. Mr Majed Al Mansouri accompanied by Mr Mohamed Saleh Al Baidani (Advisor IFHC), Government & Military dignitaries, Mian Saud Majeed, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar, Mian Muhammad Shoiab Awaisi, President HFIP - Brigadier Mukhtar Ahmed (Retired), DG Wildlife Punjab, local Administration officials and prominent personalities in the field of Conservation and Human Welfare participated in the momentous event. The release of chinkaras into the wild was also complemented by 50 Blackbucks donated by the Government of Punjab (Forests & Wildlife Department).
