Chukar Release Gallery

 

Like Peafowls, selected pairs of Chukars (Partridges) are also maintained at the administrative Camp outside CBC.  Upon hatching they are reared to a semi-adult age (10 months approximately) and also released in the wild. In 2025 over two dozens were released through Punjab Wildlife Deptt in their natural habitat of Koh-e-Suleman Range, Rojhan.  These endeavours manifest the strong commitment of Houbara Foundation towards promotion of wildlife conservation and habitat restoration.
